Throughout my 15-year career in the pharmaceutical industry, I have gained invaluable experience working with multiple Custom Research and Development Organizations (CDMOs) and small biotech companies, offering me a unique understanding of the needs and challenges faced by both biotech and pharma companies, as well as service providers.

I began my career at AMRI in Albany, NY, as a process chemist, and since then, I have overseen process and analytical development, scale-up, and commercialization of numerous products. My expertise lies in striking a balance between pragmatism and rapid scale-up while ensuring all development and regulatory requirements are met. I am an inventor of various commercial drugs, such as lisdexamphetamine (Vyvanse), and have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and hold 20+ US patents.

Later, I spent several years in the biotech industry at Concert Pharmaceuticals, where I was responsible for API development, vendor management, outsourcing, and CMC section development for regulatory filings.

Subsequently, I joined Johnson Matthey to oversee Chemistry Development and Manufacturing. As a business unit leader, I successfully led business turnarounds, managed a team of over 200 staff members, and significantly expanded a business within 18 months. My international experience was enriched through an expatriate assignment in the United Kingdom, where I played a pivotal role in multiple strategy development and execution processes. I have a proven track record of creating and executing aggressive growth plans.
